Megan: Round 1

Running can cause you to smile. Running can cause you to cry. Running can cause you to scream. And running can cause you to laugh. I think I’ve had multiple experiences of each in my short 7 months of serious running. I smiled when I finished my first 10K. I smiled when I got my pace under 10 minutes a mile. I smile every time I run a new longest distance. I cried when I got injured. I cry when the run seems hard due to multiple hills. I cry when the heat and humidity get the best of me.
